It has been more than half a year since I last blogged. Have been busy getting myself re-familiarised with FRSs and SSAs (that's the abbreviations for Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Statements on Auditing, boring stuff for non-accountants, I'm sure).
Anyways, it appears that God in His infinite wisdom has assigned me major projects that are nicely spaced-out, viz:
2007: mom's 70th birthday
2008: D2RD and HBI giveaways
2009: wifey's 40th birthday
2010: dad's 75th birthday.
2011: [details found below]
2012: mom's 75th and daughter's 16th birthdays
2013: parents' 50th wedding anniversary and son's 16th birthday
For this year, the major project is putting together a compilation disc to commemorate Rev Reuben's 100 sermons since being posted to PLMC in August 2007.
It is said that a picture speaks a thousand words. So rather than writing a ten-thousand word thesis, click on the link below to see pictures to illustrate how the project came to fruition, using basic ingredients such as DVD jackets, DVD+Rs, disc labels, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, iTunes and a colour printer.
The Making Of...
I am planning to make 25 copies (grace squared) to distribute to my fellow cell members as well as others who request for them. Better still, I have asked Rev Reubs to autograph them and I'm sure they are going to be worth much more ten years from now. If you would like a copy, do drop me a note.
